ISO Certification

Two people talking with construction hats onAn International Services Organization (ISO) 9001: 2019 Certification assures our customers that the company has a good Quality Management System (QMS) in place, and performs business as it says it does, based upon an external audit that is carried out by a third party that is an accredited registrar.

Presently the external audits are completed every six months by the United Kingdom-based firm of International Certification Services, Ltd. The certification, awarded to EMCOR Government Services, Inc. in July 2004, demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigors of an independent, external audit.

One of the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2019 Certification is that we conduct our own internal ISO audit program during the year to ensure continued compliance with the required documentation.

To accomplish this, EGS senior management personnel (i.e., Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Chief Engineers, etc.) are designated to conduct an internal ISO audit at all government or commercial contract locations during the course of that calendar year.

Specific ISO related questions are provided to the Auditor, by the EGS Senior Manager for Quality Control, for review during their visit to the contract location.
