Darrell manages, coordinates, and provides administrative direction for EGS project managers, chief engineers, and staff working on contracts located throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As the direct interface with senior government and commercial management, he ensures that EMCOR consistently meets clients’ highest expectations for operational and financial performance, including project management, strategic planning, staffing, quality control, and other contract functions. He also shows clients how EMCOR can help them meet today’s new and complex challenges.   

 

Expertise

Darrell’s facilities career spans more than 30 years. It started during his tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, where he was responsible for overseeing base operations support contracts, and continued through a succession of promotions to positions of increasing responsibility. During this time, he gained extensive management and supervisory experience, directing both government and commercial contracts.

 

Darrell holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Columbia Union College. He has also attended numerous trades and management classes, earning various industry-related certifications.

 

 

The Personal Side

Besides enjoying camping and hiking with his wife, Leslie, Darrell is an avid runner. He competes in local races and likes to run at least 20 miles weekly.
