With a passion for operational excellence, Mike ensures expectations are exceeded in delivering services to our federal and municipal government customers. With a team of over 600 skilled employees, Mike is responsible for facilities' operations and maintenance, logistics, security, janitorial, and administrative services of over 25 million square feet of property.

 

Expertise

Combining 29 years public sector experience with long-lasting relationships developed, Mike brings tremendous value to clients through his expertise in such areas as contract management, compliance with FAR and other federal procurement and contract administration policies and practices, highly effective service team building and joint venture arrangements. In addition, he conceptualizes bid costing themes, develops bid-pricing strategy, and analyzes alternative solutions.

 

His career began as an Operating Engineer at Consolidated Engineering Services, owned by Charles E. Smith Management at the time, and now an EMCOR company. Holding a variety of positions, Mike enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with both his team and the marketplace. He holds a masters certificate in government contracting from George Washington University School of Business and Public Management and received the BOMI designations as a Systems Maintenance Administrator and Real Property Administrator.

 

Mike is a member of several organizations: Association of Energy Managers (AEM), Association of Professional Energy Managers (APEM), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Real Property Administrators, The American Society of Notaries, and the Cleaning Management Institute.

Mike is an avid soccer player and coach. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
