As a valued member of the EMCOR Government Services (EGS) executive team, Dana provides the human resources leadership, direction and support needed to ensure thatEGS maintains the quality and depth of talent required to meet clients’ most demanding expectations. Her responsibilities include organizational change, leadership development, talent acquisition, performance development and compensation, as well as the management of highly effective human resources procedures. Dana has a passion for creating innovative human resources solutions for complex business problems. Under her direction, Human Resources has developed into a highly valuable function that makes a significant contribution to client satisfaction and company performance.
Expertise
Dana has over 12 years of human resources experience. She excels at aligning the HR function to client-focused business goals. In carrying out her responsibilities, she draws on extensive expertise in labor relations, talent development, executive coaching and employee relations.
Before joining EMCOR, Dana held leadership roles at General Electric and Raytheon. At GE Mechanical Systems, she specialized in labor relations, successfully negotiating a contract with the United Autoworkers. She also provided leadership, counsel and support to management on all matters related to the administration and management of hourly production and maintenance employees. At Raytheon, Dana held roles of increasing responsibility in supply chain, engineering and space systems’ programs.
Dana earned a bachelor’s in criminology and sociology, along with a master’s in industrial and labor relations at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified six-sigma specialist and a graduate of Raytheon’s leadership development program.
The Personal Side
Dana is an aspiring novelist and loves to read. She enjoys spending time with her daughter,Khayla.
