Patrick A. Baldwin "Pat" Director of Operations EMCOR Government Services

Pat and his team of project managers and engineers focus on the responsive customer care and consistent operational excellence required to deliver expert technical facilities management services to EMCOR’s government, institutional and commercial clients. Together, they provide budget assistance, create innovative solutions to technical and operational issues of varying degrees of complexity, and ensure that projects are consistently completed on schedule and within budget. In addition, Pat oversees the EMCOR Special Building Operations (SBO) division. Its highly skilled steamfitters and electricians supply maintenance, repair and construction support to all of EMCOR Government Services (EGS), providing clients with wide-ranging capabilities and single-source accountability.

 

Expertise

Pat has 25 years of hands-on technical and managerial experience. He began his career in Steamfitters Local #602, where he rose from steamfitter apprentice to journeyman. He then joined EMCOR’s Consolidated Engineering Service Division, where he quickly worked his way up through foreman and project manager positions before taking his current post.

 

Pat’s diverse project portfolio includes: the U.S. Army National Guard Readiness Center, U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs Headquarters, U.S. Secret Service Headquarters, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Agriculture Headquarters, University of Maryland University College Campus and many others. In 2005, Pat and his team won the EMCOR Site of the Year Award for their work on the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation project. This was a large, complex construction job the team completed ahead of schedule and under budget, saving the client over a quarter of a million dollars.

 

Pat holds a bachelor’s in facilities management from Almeda University and is a member of the Building Owners and Manager’s Institute, from which he has earned facility manager and real property administrator designations.

 

The Personal Side

Pat enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two children, Leslie and Patrick.
