Government Facilities Operations & Maintenance Services Company

EMCOR Government Services was formerly known as Consolidated Engineering Services. Founded in the 1940s as the facilities operations and maintenance services arm of the Charles E. Smith Companies, Consolidated was incorporated as an independent entity in 1994 in Arlington, Virginia. Consolidated leveraged its in-house integrated facilities services expertise to establish a growing business providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), structural, HVAC, and other engineering services. Consolidated Engineering Services became a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMCOR in 2002 and established the EMCOR Government Services name in 2007.
